Hello and welcome back to my blog. I created today's card to join in the 'Stampin' Through The Catalog' Challenge for March 11th using the In Bloom Stamp Set and coordinating Pierced Blooms Dies. The 'In Bloom bundle' is on page 45 of the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue.
I am absolutely loving this bundle as the floral stamps are pretty, the sentiment stamps are so useful and the dies allow you to create a whole host of flowers. I used one of my favourite things to add to a card - gold foil. The foil I used was leftover gold foil from the Joy of Sharing Kit which was in the Aug-Dec 2020 Catalogue but of course you could use any gold foil - see this post for another card using this foil.
Instructions:
- Use a Basic Black card base - A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded in half.
- Cut a smaller piece of Basic Black card. Run this through with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Attach to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Die-cut flower and bow pieces using the Pierced Blooms dies (from the In Bloom Bundle) out of Basic White, Vellum and Gold Foil card. Attach the floral and leaf pieces onto the embossed Basic Black card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Fine-Tip Glue being careful to hide any glue on the vellum under other adhered pieces.
- Stamp the sentiment from the In Blooms Stamp Set using Tuxedo Black Ink onto a strip of Basic White card. Attach a die cut bow to the card with Liquid Glue and place the sentiment over the top and attach with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Use Gilded Gems, Opal Rounds and Wink of Stella to add some more 'bling' and interest to the card.
- Use a piece of Basic White for the inside of the card and attach another gold bow using Liquid Glue.
