Today's card is for the Global Design Project Colour Challenge. The #GDP273 challenge colour combination for this week is Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink and Night of Navy. I used the new Paper Blooms Designer Series Papers which are a free Sale-A-bration item for spending over AUD $90, combined with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (from the Dandy Garden Suite).
Instructions:
- Use a Whisper White (now Basic White) card base - A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded.
- Use a Night of Navy mat and adhere to the Whisper White base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Cut a piece of the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and adhere to the Night of Navy piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Stamp a couple of dragonflies from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp set using Night of Navy ink onto some Whisper White card stock.
- Use the Dragonflies punch to punch out the stamped navy dragonflies and punch some little dragonflies from Night of Navy cardstock.
- Attach the dragonflies to the DSP using Stampin' and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set, using Night of Navy ink onto a strip of Whisper White (Basic White) cardstock. Mat this with a slightly wider piece of Night of Navy card. Attach the two pieces with Stampin' Seal and then attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Attach one of the navy punched dragonflies to the sentiment using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Attach some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each of the dragonflies to add some sparkle.
- Use a strip of Night of Navy card and a strip of the opposite side of the DSP for the inside of the card. Attach these strips with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Also attach a small Night of Navy dragonfly onto the inside of the card.
