The Good Things in Life - Artistry Blooms and a Fun Fold Card

Welcome back to my blog. For my post today, I have a fun fold card using the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!®. This collection and a selected set of papers are still on sale for 15% off the usual price till October 31st. Now this blog post is very photo heavy.. I was having too much fun making this type fun fold card that I could not stop at one.

This card was created during a monthly Crazy Crafters class by my fellow demonstrator Carolina Evans. The original idea was from Kelly Acheson. This is the link to her original idea and it provides card instructions in Imperial measurements.

I used Bermuda Bay cardstock as my base, with Gorgeous Grape for my top piece. as well as using papers from the Artistry Blooms DSP to decorate the card. 

I  used a stamp from the Forever Fern set and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink onto the Gorgeous Grape cardstock. The labels are die cut from the Tasteful Labels Set using Smokey Slate and Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped a sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set onto the Whisper White cardstock again using Gorgeous Grape ink. 

I used some one of the Forever Flourishing Dies to die cut some embellishment pieces from more of the Gorgeous Grape cardstock and attached them to the labels with multipurpose liquid glue. On the back of the card (writing panel), I used a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped more ferns from the Forever Fern set.

I have another couple of cards using the same fun fold but using elements from the Playful Pets Suite ( DSP, Stamps, Dies and Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack). 

When I first looked at this bundle, I wasn't sure how many cards I could make. After playing with it... I absolutely love it and can't wait to use it again. I particularly love the expression on the cat's face when it sees the mice.

- Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White and Smokey Slate
