Hello- Forever Greenery

Hope you are having an awesome weekend. I have been busy crafting and enjoying some time with my family. Today I have a card from the Forever Greenery Suite using the embossing folder and die cuts. I am beginning to notice that I am using a lot of green in my cards... I think that I got captivated by the Forever Greenery Suite and I just love all the greens used in the suite.

I used a Whisper White base card, with Whisper White panels which were embossed using the Greenery Embossing Folders. Before I attached the panels to the card, I used some post-it notes to mask off a vertical strip on the card. I used Just Jade and Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin' Pads and blended them onto the base card using a make-up brush. After I was satisfied with the blending, I then flicked some water onto the ink with a brush, to create a mottled look on the blended area.

I attached the embossed panels to the card and then attached one of the die-cuts from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper on top of the panels. I used some sponged Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the die-cut to attach it.

I used a sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp set which I stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink and then matted onto a piece of Gold Foil. I added another piece of the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper onto the inside of the card.

  • Whisper White panels
  • Gold Foil
