Beloved - Queen Bee - CAS on Friday

Beloved - Queen Bee - CAS on Friday

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #282 theme which is a 'Sunshine' Challenge. The Sunshine theme reminded me of a floral garden which is what inspired today's card.

For my card today, I used the Queen Bee stamp set (colouring the images with Stampin" Blends) and Queen Bee Dies (retired), Metal Plate Embossing Folder and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (retiring end of April).

Make sure to visit the blog HERE to see the rest of the team's projects.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White card for the card base and layer with a piece of Bubble Bath card which has been embossed with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder.

- Stamp the bee image from the Queen Bee stamp set onto a piece of Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. Colour the images with Stampin' Blends (Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Pecan Pie).

- Die cut the image with the Queen Bee Dies. Use the dies to die cut flowers from Lemon Lolly card, as well as a bee from Very Vanilla card (this was an off cut from a previous card). Adhere all the die cut pieces to the card front.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Queen Bee stamp set using Smoky Slate onto Basic White and attach. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the die cut flowers to complete.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI698 Choose Two Challenge  where the choice was between Leaves - Flowers - Pots. For the challenge I picked Flowers (not at all a surprise - lol ) and Leaves.

I used the Simply Said stamp set for the sentiment, fussy cut flowers and leaves from the Flowering Zinnias DSP and the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder.

Instructions:

- Use Petal Pink card for the card base and emboss the front with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. Layer it with a piece of Basic White card and then a piece of the Flowering Zinnias DSP.

- Fussy cut flowers and leaves from the Flowering Zinnias DSP and adhere to the front of the card using Liquid Glue and Stampin Dimensionals to create a layered 3D effect.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and adhere.
