Cottage Wreaths Bundle & Trees For Sale

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I have two cards for you that were inspired by an idea from Sara Douglass CEO at Stampin’ Up!®.

If you visit Stampin’ Up’s Facebook post HERE, you can see how Sara used some Designer Series Paper to create a series of cards using a simple design that you can use to create any number of cards.

Card 1

This card uses the Cottage Wreaths Bundle, Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Speciality DSP, Black & White Designs DSP, Festive Foils Specialty DSP, Real Red & White Glimmer Paper and the Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins.

- Use Basic Black A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded for the card base. Layer with a piece of Black & White Designs (see Sara Douglass’s video for size and instructions). Use a rectangular piece of the Gold & Rose Gold Specialty DSP into 2 triangles and save the second piece for the next card. Adhere the triangle to the Black and White Designs DSP

- Die cut two wreaths from the Festive Foils DSP and a bow from the Real Red & White Glimmer Paper and adhere to the card.

Stamp a sentiment from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and adhere to the card. Apply Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins to embellish.

Card 2

This card uses the Trees for Sale stamp set and coordinating Tree Lot Dies (which is a Sale-a-bration set available during July/August 2022 for spends over AUD$180). I also used the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty DSP, Light Aglow Specialty DSP, Timber 3D Embossing Folder and Glossy Dots Assortment.

- Use Evening Evergreen  A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded for the card base. Layer with a piece of Lights Aglow DSP. Layer with a piece of Basic White embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder and with a light application of Crumb Cake ink with a Blending Brush. Use the second triangle of Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty DSP to the Basic White. Tie a piece of Linen Thread around the Basic White piece before adhering to the card.

- Use the Tree Lot Dies and die cut trees and snow from the Lights Aglow DSP and Basic White card. Adhere the trees to the card and add Glossy Dots Assortment and Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the trees.

Stamp a sentiment from the Trees for Sale stamp set using Soft Succulent ink onto Basic White card and fussy cut out and adhere to the card.
